I may be wrong but I think the sport model needs to be reset when the car has been started to prevent someone from backing into something because it was left in one of the more responsive settings... There were some accidents when wives or girlfriends would use the car and not know or remember the difference in throttle response.

However, most of the customers are sole user of the vehicle. They found it troublesome to set the kit every day when they start up the car.
Therefore, we now only carry memory mode. It will retain the last setting you had.
