I think he wants a boot that covers the trim that has the gear selector on it.
That would be kind of neat i guess cuz you can see the selected gears on the dash already.

ill have to try to get with an owner of and auto and check it out and see if it can be done. the biggest issue would be the trim being able to snap back in with the fabric underneath it.

Well it's the same opening as the manual, so perhaps take out the center piece where the drive letters are at? Might have to get some parts from the manual.

Edit: I went to hondapartsdeal.com and looked at the 5-speed and auto, they both seem to have the same pieces.

looks like you would have to buy the stock manual shiftboot to get the plastic piece it uses to attach to the console

Yes I will be. I'm waiting on the steering wheel emblems to be finished first since once I know they are made right all that will be needed is to scale the size. I don't want to be making them at thesame time cuz if something needs to be tweaked it would just make it harder since each mould would have to be tweaked

they should have a prototype done for me within a couple days, hopefully there are no tweaks needed and it is good to go so that i can have them start to make my first batch

i also need a GD owner and a GE owner to contact me who would be willing to take some pictures and measurements of an item on their car for me to develop something. i will give a nice discount on the item if they want one =)
