We had about 4" this morning with some spots of ice. Didn't have any trouble with stock 15's. I agree about the ABS, as it came in handy today !!

Hey Popeye,

I'm am SO wanting a Fit, it simply isn't funny. My '95 Odyssey is on it's way out, and I'm totally downsizing, and for me, Fit is the way to go. Just have to convince my wife! Which isn't going to be easy! I'm after a VIVID BLUE PEARL SPORT MANUAL! Anybody else?

Dumplin,

Have you shopped around for a Fit yet? I've heard good things about HIDY I think with some guy named Steve. Check the posts. I'm willing to go sticker on this car, only if my wife agrees on it! This is going to be a tough one to sell! "It is a SPEC!" "UGLY!" Hard sell when this is what I get when I talk about it!

I'm all for the meet just let me know the time and place and I’ll be there for the meet. The FIT is coming along ok; I just had a lil few problems w/it in the beginning.

The Fit replaced an Odyssey for me too. I'm pleased with the cargo space, call it my mini - mini van, and the gas mileage is way better. At first I wasn't sure of how it looked, but it grows on you, GREAT CAR!

naw, i didn't have ne problems like what you have. mine was/is: i have to get my e-brake pin replace 'cause te ebrake lights would come on and making the beeping noise.(they found a air pin around the ebrake) Also, i was getting bad gas mileage. now i don't have the Fit nemore. i trade in lastnite for a 07 Si sedan Blk. w/5 miles on it. one was the first to drive it. ITS a Killa

If you haven't bought yet, I would look at Voss Honda in Tipp City. That is where I got mine. I tried to deal with Hidy since my wife bought her CR-V there and the sales guy only want to sell me what was on the lot. Didn't have much luck with the service department either. Took her CR-V to Voss and they gave exceptional service. The step bar on the CR-V had some paint flaking off and they replaced both of them even though it was a couple thousand miles out of warranty. That sold me. I dealt with Steve Tritle in new car sales to get my Fit. He's a nice guy to work with and not pushy at all.

hello from Cincy

Hello everyone, I just noticed that there is this group from OH... I have had my BOM Fit for almost 2 months, and love it more every day For the guy who said his wife doesnt think its 'cute' enough to drive, oh send her my email! lol, I get a lot of comments how cute she is, plus she is just so fun to drive. My husband likes that he can hook up his ipod to the stereo (me as well, works great with my little shuffle). We have 6 children, and I have ample storage space for groceries when I make my weekly run to Sams club and the other grocery stores on the same day.. I usually end up only having to drop one of the back seats, there is really a lot of space when you do that. We went skiing at perfect north slopes (just the 2 of us, not all the kids, lol), and our skis fit inside fine, with the seats down (otherwise they would probably obstruct the rearview). I dont want to put a ski rack on it, since we wouldnt use that very much.

I actually saw another BOM fit here once, but didnt see if it was from here or not, couldnt see the plates. As far as I have seen, only a silver, and a black, fit have been spotted in my area. Lots of the Toyota matrix, but barely a fit to be found When I tell people what kind of car it is, they always say "A Honda what?"

Nice to meet everyone here, have a great time playing in the snow if you got it!

glad to hear you are enjoying the car. not sure it would hold all six, i'm assuming you have another (larger) vehicle?

Well my Fit is the 4th Honda I have bought from Hidy so I get great service....I hate buying a new car and don't play the wait let me talk to the Sales Manager.....I say fine you got 2 mins and I am out the door. It's great to find a Dealer you can trust.

Geesh I am really behind....as to your question no that wasn't mine....I work at the base and do lots of shopping around the WSU area I have seen the other BO fit in the area though and it looks sharp. Usually the other colors are down the road before I have time to think.....wow there's a FIT....but the BO really jumps out at me because the color is so unique
