I think the light blue is just on the base Fit - don't see it much.

I have only seen 4 Fits on the road since I bought mine early this month. But I did notice a Red Sport in a driveway down the road from me. Not many of them down here in southern Summit county I guess...

That was a Luna Mist and I talked to a guy last year that had one....he said that color was rare and even after a year I have only seen one other one on the road....it is pretty but I still like my Blaze Orange the best :-).

WOOOOO WEEEEEEEE look at Ohio go. We need to get a Fit meet somewhere in Ohio. Summit Racing parking lot perhaps? Anyways, I got my Red Sport 5-Speed about a month ago and love it. The little thing is a blast to drive. Since then, I got all the back windows tinted 5%, installed a VooDoo shift knob, Sirius radio, a Scangauge and just put on LED tails last night.

I seem to have a problem with not being able to leave the car alone lol

Nice to see everyone from Ohio joining the Fit world!
Here's a few pictures of mine after I got the Windows done.....the day after I picked it up lol

Summit Racing would be a fun place for an Ohio Fit Meet! Sounds like we got our MR 5spds about the same time - I'm loving every minute of it too! Just haven't done any mods yet. (besides throwing XM in there) Your window tints look great!

BOM in Cincy

I dont know where this summit place is, what city is that? I just got my windows tinted the other day on my BOM, now i cant roll my windows down for 5 days!!! driving me crazy, i much rather would have the windows down (even if they do look pretty cool tinted now, lol). I am checking into putting some little silver flames on the body, not sure if i will have them painted or vinyl graphics... any opinions? Also considering having the clear protective thing from 3m put onto the hood, i hear it is costly but these dings are really making me mad, and I havent gotten a reply back from ERG about whether anyone is making a bug deflector (preferably silver, but black or smoke would suffice at this point) for the fit. I did get one reply back from the guy who is in charge of the USA operations, he said they do make them, but I will be darned if I can find anyone that is carrying them yet In the meantime, I just keep looking. Oh also, anyone have a clue where I might find some silver (again, or smoke/black 2nd choice) window guards, the in-channel type? Those are on my list, of things I cannot find yet

Thanks Doug!

I have the in-channel window visors made by Weathertech on my Ranger. I want to end up getting a set for the Fit soon. I love them. I've had them for about 6 years and no problems at all. The in-channels look so much better then the taped on ones. Here's the link: http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...1284&Year=2007 **I have the light tinted ones and they look darker then they do on the site. They're far from clear.

As far as the flames, I'm not sure if I'd go with vinyl graphics or not. They might be more cost effective and you can remove them if you don;t like them, but paint would look sweet too. Especially if you had some ghost flames airbrused on. Those airbrushed flames look so real but it might be $$$ to get that done unless you know someone.

As far as the bug deflectors and clear front film.....I've been pondering the same thing. I drive the highway to and from work, and have been trying to jump on the backroads lately to try and keep the chips to a minimum. I'm going to see how winter goes. Something tells me it's going to be ugly lol I've seen the bug shields on here but never saw them for sale. That's a mystery to me too.

Retail Locations - Index The Summit Racing headquarters is the address in the middle. It's right outside of Canton Ohio which is a pretty good jog for me, but something I'd be willing to do for an Ohio Fit meet! We need to get the ball rolling on an Ohio Fit meet. That'd be pretty sweet.

Crawly, thanks for all the info! I did see the in-channel window deflectors, Ill be getting those very soon Yesterday, I got the burlwood dash trim kit, and am looking into painting it to match my BOM baby, although they dont sell spray touch up at the dealer, only the stuff in a bottle, so Ill look online and order from there. I took it to the dealer to see how much they would charge to paint it, they said $100 and they werent sure how the paint would react to the plastic, so it could possibly be in vain. So, I told them thanks but ill keep looking around. I also asked them about the 3m clear coating for the front of the car, they said it works well but hold on to your wallet because its very expensive (I think they said maybe $300-$400!), and they also said that it does make a difference in the sheen of the car, that the covered area will not be as shiny as the rest of the car. So, thats out for me, that would bug me to death... Ill just keep looking for the hood deflector in the meantime. EGR got back to me and told me that they dont make anything for the Fit, and good luck in my hunt Not happy to hear that, back to scratch for the hood deflector again. As for the flames, I am going to take it to a friend of a friend to get a price for painting them on... although I have been quoted a price of around $75 for vinyl, so that will be hard to beat. Oh, I got the windows tinted also, they look dark from the outside but not bad inside at all, I was afraid I might not be able to see well but its not a problem so far. I will post pics later on when I get around to finding my camera!

Ok, All I could find was this so far

eBay Motors: HONDA FIT JAZZ STONE DEFLECTOR HOOD PROTECTOR EGR NEW (item 160130517280 end time Jul-22-07 11:30:16 PDT)

and I know it says EGR, but it might just be "similar" the the EGR. If you spoke with someone from EGR, I'd hope they weren't lying to you lol. I wasn't sure if you saw this one yet or not. I'll keep me eues open and see what I can find.

**EDIT - Ok this is what I was able to dig up. I knew I saw this on here. Thanks to manxman for the info. Apparently they are currently only available in Canada but I'm sure you could order one. Maybe shoot manxman a PM and see what he says. Here's the link to his review on them. Hope the helps. Anything to keep the Fit nice and purdy!

Guess I should pop in and say hi. Picked my NHBP MT from Hidy and have been back for 2 service visits so far and both have been interesting. Seems like most sales and service department people know nothing about the Fits. The finance department was great, they wanted me to leave that night with the car.
For window guards I went with the knock off mugens just to see if I would like them. These are the tape on models but now I wonder how I ever lived without them. I"m also working on getting the hood deflector from canada due to the commute to Cinncy.

So... it's a year (almost) later and I've just received my Fit from Roush Honda here in Westerville and I LOVE it! We ended up replacing my VW Cabrio with an Element for my husband and were a one car (and one scooter) family for the spring/summer months. We ordered my Fit in April and we just got it last week. I know it's been a year and you've most likely made a decision much faster than we did but if not, I highly recommend the fit.

My Silver Sport 5 speed is also from Roush - the most conveniently located car dealer (of any make) for me. No complaints with the FIT or with ROUSH. I printed accessory prices from College Hills Honda and Roush matched them.

At least they are more and more common and the "stealerships" aren't rakeing peeps over the coals on pricing now.

I got the hood deflector also in the group buy. Its been installed for almost 2 weeks and its not as cool as I had hoped. I cleaned the hood with a clay bar re-waxed before installing and I'm still getting some nice bug splats on the hood. Its not noticable on a black Fit and disapears because of the color.

PS. forgot to mention I went in for my 3rd oil change since I got the car in april. Took it to the dealer I bought it from Hidy Honda and the service department sucks. Every time they have been rude, one time they didn't complete the services they charged me for until I complained, they never fill out the service logs unless I force them to, and every time the free car wash makes my car look filthy. The last car wash left black oily dirt all over my rims with water spots and oily streaks down the side of my car when I tried to wipe off the water and spots.

Sorry about the poor service......the best service in Ohio is at Marysville Honda.

If you live up north I'd use Ganley Honda

Yeah, it does suck, but whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger right? Too bad the lease was up on the s2k, you getting another toy soon, or sticking with fit only for a while. I put hfp wheels on mine, but other than that I'm leaving it stock for a while.
