VW 270 HP Golf R: it's all fun and games until someone has to visit the dealership for monthly repairs!

Yeah, our Jetta VR6 is spewing coolant again ... this time the radiator is cracking. (It was the fitting at the firewall 6 months ago. And the funny multi-headed doodad on the engine block before that (twice). And the water pump seal before that. Oh yeah, and the water pump fins broken off the shaft once. And the radiator fan vibrated itself off the car. 2 alternators, one belt tensioner, several O2 sensors, one MAF sensor, one driver's door lock module ... Most of the problems were under warranty though, the first 3 years, thank goodness.)

My Fit has been flawless since April '06. My '07 BMW Z4 just lost the reliability race by developing a failed trunk sensor (minor, fixed under warranty). Oh yeah, the Jetta had a failed trunk sensor too, forgot about that one ...

JETTA vr6? guess that makes it a mkIV vw. tons of problems with them are no suprising.

as a mkV owner, trust me, vw turned their game around. i've techincally had more issues with my fit than i did my rabbit
