Tough crowd here!
BTW, the comments about the Cruze are a bit harsh IMO, that's a really sharp car and from what I've seen, the interior is really nice lookin'....we talkin' about the same car here?
From what i've heard, it seeems like the first mid to long term problem with the cruze will be the general lack of rustproofing used on the car in the welds and body panels joints from the factory! IMHO, it may prove to be a major problem here in Quebec but should be fine in Florida, Texas or in California where you rarely, if happen to, have sub zero °c temps... After all, 1st gens Mazda 3 are probably the worst Rustbuckets roaming on salt ladden Quebec's streets (As well as Toyota Echos also were before they got recalled.).. but on the other hand, they're probably just be fine in the warmer US states! Apparently, the Cruze will be the same according to some car show announcers and relatives that are working in body shops as, like i allready said, it seems like they suffer from a general lack of rustproofing agents from the factory!
Time will tell... In the meantime i'll enjoy my little Honda!!
