What makes you rethink your fit?

What makes you rethink your fit?
I was wondering if anyone ever SERIOUSLY considers trading in their fits for any particular cars? And I mean realistically don't say Ferrari or something like that..
For me every time I see an s2000 or a Hyundai gen coupe I have second thoughts...
What about you guys?

I don't like the cheap material used in the interior of the Fit and I have a strong dislike for the black color in the Sport. If Honda would import their leather interior model here in the states I would trade the Fit in for it (as long as it wasn't black). I would also opt for the moon roof if it were available.

The fit is a nice looking, sporty entry level eco car. If that's what you want, it's hard to replace it with a Yaris/Versa, etc. The two cars you stated are sport cars, so it's all down to what your mindset is and what you want/need. I promise you it's not going to be fun getting groceries in your s2k or be stop and go traffic, but with the Fit, it's not so bad at all.

I am very pleased with my Fit--sure would love a sunroof & I agree about the black interior, I much prefer the grey on the base model, but wanted the cruise control that came on the 2010 Sport.
If I were buying a 2011 Fit, I prob would get a Base model just to get the grey interior ;)

for me the GD was only a temporary car while my kids grew up from infants to toddlers to now little kids. it served its purpose well. my dd is a G35Coupe. it does well with kids that can get in/out of the car on their own. not so nice when you have to deal with infant carriers and 5point harnesses especially out in the rain.
the GE will be driving for as long as my wife wants to. she likes the car but it's a little fatiguing for her with the bumpy ride and the seats that just dont fit us right for some reason. im looking to get a c-series (benz) for her next.

^Agreed. I have no regrets about the Fit at all, and hopefully it will serve its purpose for a long time.
Not to say I wouldn't mind having a fun, fast car for the weekends, like a 370Z Nismo or a GTR.

The only thing that has made me reconsider the Fit was last night trying to install an infant carseat. The acceptable install left the passenger seat all the way to the front :( Not worth buying a bigger car until multiple seats are required. i guess its called a sub-compact for a reason.

i replaced my gd3 for an ek-sedan because i wanted to lose the monthly payment and something cheaper to mod... i love my sedan but really miss the convenience of the gd3: grocery trips, carrying around wheels/parts for my friends, etc. also, i think the Fit is a lot more ugly and nerdy looking than my sedan -- ugly and nerdy in a good way.

I love my Fit.
However, I no longer have half the modding intentions I had pre-purchase.
I love how it drives stock.
Before driving the car, I had plans for many, many things. And using the car as both DD and project.
Now I just want to lower it, get wheels and make it a better daily. and buy an RX7 to tinker with.

For me it's the Suzuki SX4 awd hatchback. Pretty much as it's the only car with a similar form factor that has awd and is budget priced. I'm moving to Boulder soon and will be driving to the resorts and remote trailheads quite a bit so the extra clearance and awd would be useful.
I will be getting a 2nd set of rims and snow tires this week, so that should help for part of the year. For the rest, I'll just park farther away from trailheads.
I've never really checked out an SX4, so when I see one, I just assume they're terrible cars. :)

I understand... Ah, the right-of-passage of youth and being bullet proof. :-) In time drock... you will... both cars you mentioned are definitely nice! I wouldn't mind having either one... I also have an '02 Rex if that counts :-)
