Most Egregious States For Speeding tickets - Yahoo!

 

I saw that article but did not get a chance to read it yet.I remember visiting relatives in Texas about 20 years ago and the Law was very strict even back then.

I was driving with my cousin and he had a radar detector and it was constantly going off and was quite accurate.I noticed how he paid strict attention to the changing speed limits in town.

I laughed and said man in California everybody drives 5-10 over the posted limit including the cops lol.
He told me I had better unlearn those habits if I ever moved to TX because they will get you every time for speeding.

I have not gotten a speeding ticket in 22 years so I guess I'm doing pretty good :)

 

Surprising, specially with all the open roads in TX. Yup I guess you're doing good Z. What sticks out with me is getting pulled over in AR going 4 over the speed limit waaaay back when. Guy was a "real" Smokey with a brim hat, aviator glasses, over 6' tall, the works. He even escorted me to the courthouse to pay the fine. Geeezzzzzz. :-(

 

Pulled over numerous times, the only time I ever got a speeding ticket was in Nevada (Vegas) 10mph over in a speed trap 45-35-45, on Easter Sunday. Motorcycle cop. People in the parking lot were booing him as he wrote it lol

$580 fine.

EMPTY ROAD.

 

Man those tickets can sure hurt a guys wallet and sometimes land ya in the pokey lol
The worst is when the officer acts like he's going to let you off with a warning

but gives you the ticket in the end.They have you sitting there at the side of the road sweating bullets thinking your getting off,

and then you here those famous words " Sir I need you to sign right here"
