Yes, yes, yes ... sans most of those jumbled up side creases ...

The Chinese version is much cleaner ... if not elegant.

Hurry! We just put $825 into 2003 CR-V brakes ... we 'need' the Weasel/Vessel/HR-V!

Here is a link to a post on the Honda HR-V forum where someone posted a link to a video on YouTube, comparing the Honda Fit to the Honda HRV (Vezel), side by side.

http://www.hrvforum.com/forum/289-ho...el-vs-fit.html

The HR-V seems like a Fit on steroids.

Vezel sales in Japan are crushing it. Last i read, they're on backorder for minimum 3 months after you order.

My top choice was actually the HR-V/Vezel, but i couldn't wait. Once it's released, i may consider trading in.

Hr-v 2016

The Honda website is now showing the HR-V as a 2016 model. I guess it won't be available until mid-year like the Fit was.

That's been there for a while. I can't wait to see the inside and see real world results. I'm pretty interested.

It's just a two door? That's a deal killer right there.

Four. Hidden rear handles. Look near the middle of the back side of the door.

Nope, it has four doors. The rear door handles are in the C-pillars, similar to the Nissan Juke and the Chevy Sonic.

Hopefully they get it right from the start . Maybe a lesson learned with the '15 FIT imperfections .

I am waiting for the release myself! While built on the 2015 Fit platform, the fact it sits about 4 inches higher appeals to me. While I love my daughters Fit, as I loved our old 2008 Fit, I much prefer the height our Honda Odyssey provides. I do not like falling into and climbing out of a car.

There was a little blurb about the HR-V in last weekends fish wrapper. They mentioned a spring 2015 release. Hope that is true. The added ground clearance & availability of 4wd interests me also. I'm sure it will be the same or similar set up as the CRV's real time 4wd setup.

Unfortunately, that is the Hybrid model, and in Japan. When we do get this, it will not be the Hybrid, and it will a dumb down model as other vehicles that we get over what the Europeans / Japanese usually are offered. Even the hybrid Fit was rumored to be coming here, but now it has been pulled.
