After 19 years the underside of the hood had never been cleaned. Started with a strong detergent and that took off the oily dirt. The 19 year old grim is taking a liquid cleaner from Kit car wax Formula 1 "scratch out" thats the ticket, its great for oxidation on headlights too.

So man i was looking hi and lo to find a Y pipe gasket for a GSR, remember its 1of1 the type r is a tube header and the b1 motors fit at the head but the Y/ collector pipes are a different beast unto their own.
so just make it. So i did.

 

nope i won't spend the time and money. You can now import a jdm itr from Japan legally and if you line up everything its not expensive as a conversion.
im happy with this one the way it's coming out.
tonight i hope to fire er back up!
