I wasn't 100% on the tire size I was getting or when I was getting them. The tires I have now (205/55R15) didn't rub too bad in the front when I have 2 medium-heavy sized passengers in the car, so I bent the fender lip a bit to try stop that. The rear tires however barely clear whenever my 250lb cousin is in the back, so I'm thinking about either bending the lips like I did on the front or just have them rolled.

Every shift knob seems small to me because I was using an 8ball before I changed to the quick shifter

also i couldn't help but notice you signature is reaching that obnoxiously large size again

Anyone can make their own bushing with washers and longer bolts. It's the other part to make the throw slightly shorter. It feels really good though, I have the Skunk2 bushings for the longest time.

I have thought about doing it that way, and in fact I know I will if I am ever displeased with the stock shifter throw distance...... As it is now, it is far better than our truck or Forester.

I wouldn't really call that ghetto. Oh, so I have a name brand spacer, that's baller vs a cheaper one that does the same thing lol. Really, $70? thats a rip too. I bought my Skunk2 for 40 bucks way back.

Whenever I get around to doing it I'll be sure and go to a real hardware store and buy the best quality bolts and washers they've got..... I don't know if it is because I am cheap or old school, I just like doing things as simply as I can.

that wouldnt do anything because you dont have the actual adapter that makes the throw shorter. it would probably be about 5 or 6 washers tall
