I posted this in the ICE thread but didn't know if u guys checked there. thought ya'll might get a kick out of it....

I've got a 4ch amp and 6.5" comps in the front and nothing in the back. I took out the subs for now too. here's some pics of the install and the sound deadening on the doors. Had to cut out the speaker holes and built spacers for the midbasses. Also the tweeters didn't fit in the factory locations that a sport uses so i got creative. Hope u likes

BTW taken with a crappy cell camera. And i'm working out some kinks in the wiring, so i had to jump from the amp outputs to the inputs for now. And going to run ALL NEW rcas tomorrow.

Henry – since your bumper was recently fixed, had you given the opportunity to have clear bra installed? If not, I would recommend Trey Pappas (3M installer) from Frisco – Speed Shield | Paint Protection Film | Dallas, Texas.

BlueCell – I deeply apologize for the hindsight on my part. How is your lip spoiler? Do you know Tommy Nguyen? He specializes in bodywork and paint; not to mention, he is also a distributor for performance modification, if interested. His work is based in Arlington – Welcome to CompleteAeroKits.com.

He does receive rave reviews via Dallas Imports online forum – Dallasimports (Powered by Invision Power Board).

My tinter also does the paint protection. I've already got too many chips to make it worth my wild. However i'm getting a new CF hood eventually so i'll probably get it done then.

The hood has some protection with that "shield" the dealer had put on; too bad it doesn't cover the whole hood.

Also, they put that stuff on the side mirrors, but as you pointed out when I came by to show you my new intake, that "shield" was damaged. I will be getting an oil change in a couple of weeks, so I'll ask about what can be done to fix or replace it. There should be no reason for it to be damaged like that.

i was at a stop light in smithwick (its a tiny town west of round rock) and this trooper rolled down his window and in his incredibly southern accent said "damn youve got some bright lights, why are the bottom ones yellow" i told him because they were xenon bulbs and burn at a diff. temp than the head lights. he simply replied with a tilted head similar to what dogs do and asked me if that was legal.

at this point i figured he was either really dumb or he was trying to get me to say something that i shouldnt. so i told him that all honda fits came like this from the factory. all he said was "thats really cool man"
