i was driving around town on friday evening and drove through some wet paint on the road. didnt see it at the time. got to where i was going and saw that my nice black fit now has a severe case of light gray paint all over the driver's side.
lame. taking it to the paint shop today to see what they can do for me.

Girl, you need to buy my HFP's. I'll be selling them as soon as I get my new wheels in(won't be long)
Where did the paint stick on? if anything it can be removed with some elbow grease. Or (make sure they know what they are doing) use some brake cleaner. It should take the recent paint off because the paint on the car has been cured already and is really tough to take off.
paint (oil based at that) on front bumber, left side skirt/running board, LF fender, LF door, LF side mirror, LR door, LR fender. insurance is gonna cover it so i'm not too worried. but still it sucks to have had your car less than a month and have some idiot screw it up by not taking care of the crap in the back of his/her truck.
