Any word on the next meet? Just to stir up some thoughts, how about have a meet out somewhere in Louisiana or in Beaumont? The reason behind this idea is that the Toepfer bros. are usually the ones that typically have to drive the furthest to the meets.

 

That's funny, because I drive more than they do. They only been to two of the meets and I been to all of them. Make em drive far! lol jk. There is a nice lake up here in Dallas that would be cool to do another bbq meet. Plus the roads are good for a few turns on the way in.

 

the reason the bros drive out to our meets is because there are only 2 versus 10+

im deff going out to the next meet because ive given up on the miracle x bar. i was hoping to get it but its coming up on a year already and it doesnt seem im going to be getting it anytime soon

 

you have been to more. But if u break it down we drove further to both austin and houston. I only mised the track 21 cuz of knee injury. I'm down to come up to Dallas tho. Doesn't bother me.

BTW Knee surgery went well. Had to cut more than expected something like 6 inches. And he said it took longer than expectd. But i should be going to work in the morning. And i'm driving and getting around so thats good.

 

I been to 4 meets. Houston, Houston, Austin, Houston.

 

its definitly time for a change then. Dallas it is. Unless there is somewhere better to go.

 

Good to hear the surgery went well. Get to feeling better man! Thanks again Marcus for the sick shift boot. Center console came in handy over the 500+ miles I put down this weekend. La Grange is awesome. I got some updated pic's in my photo thread.

Me and marcus were talking and thinking Dallas would be cool. We were looking at a lake up there. He said there is some nice roads. And a good spot to BBQ so we just need to figure out whats up. June sounds good to me. If out Florida thing doesn't work out.

Cedar Hill State Park in the Grand Prairie/Mansfield Area is a good place to have a BBQ/Meet. We had one out there last year and everything was awesome.
