oh shoot i hope its on a sunday, i usually work on saturdays and get off @ noon

 

sundays are too difficult for everyone else. If you can't get off that day then just come a little late it won't a be a big deal. You'll still get to hang and bowl.

 

ill be there right after work.

 

well now that i think about it, if its in august i wont be able to get off of work, but september i will be able to get the saturday off. let me know when there is a specific date set.

That actually looks like a centennial plant. It has a stalk about 10 feet high that comes out of the middle and huge blossom that comes out on top of that about once ever 50 years. My grandmother used to have one in her yard. So technically we have them in Louisiana too HAHA. But she transplanted it so that might not count. That is some amazing scenery you have there tho.

Whats odd is that i was trying to figure out why i recognize the name Hondo, TX. Its because i used to drive through there 3 or 4 times a year. My family had a Camp/Lease in Leaky, TX which is 20 someodd miles north of Uvalde. Man I loved it out there. We were right there on the frio we'd go tubing all the time. Heaven on earth if you ask me.

Well I've lived out here for about 16 years and was born/lived 4 years in San Antonio before that! So ya, it's pretty much been like forever!

 

Adam, decide on a date for the next meet. Just posting it and saying late august or mid sept doesnt help lol. date would be nice to plan for.

Well I'm like 20mi north of the big H... lol, but I went to school and work there!! haha, but it's a nice little town indeed!

 

I think the only thing i've ever stopped there for was fresh fruit like watermelons or cantelopes.
