I love those tires just the fact that they start wearing out a lot after 10k miles....YIKES

 

Just the minor downfall of a 200 treadwear. I've seen someone run these at the gymkhana. The grip is phenomenal.

Tires mean everything on a car. everything!

I have them, this is my second set. first ones on my 15x7s were 195/50s. these are 205/50s . I have a pair of 225/45s coming in for my 15x9s

yeah buddy. i daily this all day. even my girl rides with me with no complaints. she love mah fit. however ill be rocking a buddys car or my dads truck very soon for about a week. roll cage install time. then ill daily it again for a little while. then back to down time with k24 install

 

NEGATIVE!!! this is my second set. my first ones lasted 18,000 miles. that same pair i had 6 road race track days, and 2 auto crosses. I also daily drove on them. the tire is amazing. sticky and good miles on them.

Are you going to have this done by Feb 13th? I need to know ahead of time, this way I can make sure to strap my wiener to my leg so it doesn't stand at attention the entire time your car is present.

 

Well I would love to say yes but there are some other things that NEED to be done before I satisify my horse power fix. Like roll cage, and get everything needed together for the swap. also going to get higher spring rates soon. hyper coil!

 

peW_peW....looks like I'm going to pull the trigger on some Ecopia's by Bridgestone. I figure if Spoon runs them on their CR-Z that they must be a good tire

 

I'm going to have to check those out... I seriously need some sticky tires... If I can make it to Pearland I'll bring some CDs with some Progressive Country artist from the 70s.... Even Willy's stuff is called Americana nowadays... If anyone that plays guitar can bring one and tell me what key that whatever they are playing is in I'll bring some harmonicas and a small battery powered amp.... I really want to meet the Texas freak crew....It's too bad that there are so many rules at the park. If we could meet in someones pasture where no one cares what we do, we could get a little crazy, like BYOB crazy.

It was a toss up between the two, or perhaps more apt - a hail mary.

 

The park rules I just cut and pasted from the previous meets. You are more than welcome to bring your music equipment and jam at the park for our entertainment. Just keep in mind that if there are any other people there we may have to lower the volume just a tad till they leave. I don't think that the sound of music would travel too far since the park is in the wooded area.

As far as booze, I'm not for it due to safety reasons (and it may not be allowed at Planter's Point Park). I wouldn't want to risk anyone getting into an accident or injure themselves before/during the meet with alcohol in their system.

 

I use to sing at a lot of local country outings, so maybe we can have a lil shin-dig?

 

I don't think we will have to worry about this. I've been out there a few times shooting portraits for people, and it's always empty.

 

I was cutting up about the alcohol, I haven't used the stuff in a public setting other than with a meal in over ten years and seldom consume a six pack in a months time... As for amplified music, I am talking about a tiny battery powered amp that primarily is used to create the overdriven sound of a small tube amp. If anyone has an acoustic guitar that puts out much sound at all I don't want to wreck one of my harps by overworking the reeds.. I need to be able to hear myself and be told what key they are playing in or I am lost.
