on a couple other forums ive been on, they had an open chat at the top of the page. pretty cool idea. anybody ever had that before?

On a few forums I've been on, there were shout boxes which pretty much acted as "twitter" for the forum as well as an actual chat room. Its not bad; however, if had a shout box and one of the admins forgets to update it periodically a "hacker" (at least they claim that title) can simply drop in a redirect code which can and will redirect us to some lame "*insert forum/site* been hacked by *insert name*." Not a true hack in any sense but is a minor set back and annoyance.

So glad to know that you are OK, TC! It's really awful what's happening in Texas...I am very worried that if we don't get a lot of rain soon, we're going to be in very bad shape. We are already, but it's only supposed to get worse.

 

If Texas needs rain, its in their best interest to fund my coming to Texas and washing my car there.

I can guarantee a downpour the next day.

Nope, I was doing a state inspection at work yesterday and had cut my chin open on the fender of a lowered (almost slammed for a truck) '90 GMC Sierra. Had to get 5 stitches and a tetanus shot

 

lol I have no plans of coming down there, what I meant was:

They should pay me to come down there and wash my car.

Downpours come every time I wash my car.

For real! I'm still feeling "good" in a sense after work, just now regain some feeling in the chin and have been kinda groggy all day... then I had a Red Bull mix with a Grape Powerade. Which made me hyperactive but still groggy. I don't even remember how I drove home today. lol

Today is the day the hottest summer ever recorded will be broken in the Dallas Fort Worth area... It has consistently been hotter here... I am very sure that Al Gore was telling the truth about global warming since everything he said has been occurring exactly as he said it would only it is happening at a must faster rate... At least it is getting a little cooler at night and is a pleasant 80 degrees outside right now.
