That sounds like a winner but then figuring what belt size is need and then finding one the correct width has to be done followed by getting the AEM AF/IC will need a Boom Slang harness, then A/F meter and 5 band O2 sensor and a bung welded into the downpipe... That is rough but not all that scary but learning how to program and work up the tune is scary... I can get a meter I think but does it just need a 5 band O2 sensor to work or is there more?
The FIC and Harness should be pretty straight forward too... then all you would need is the proper pulley, and you should be able to re-use the KW belt, unless there is not enough range left on the tensioner to pull out any slack?

I have very little adjustment left that I can use now and that is from only 15000 miles... Yeah I meant wide band, my meds have begun to mess with me and I have been pretty screwed up today any way.. I think I can pick up the gauge itself minus the wiring but I held off because I'm not sure that the wide band O2 sensor is all I need.. I guess I should hook up a boost gauge to see how much pressure it has already... I think that JDMChris said that his was about or just over 12 PSI.

Some folks that are stressed and frustrated get pissed off and hate everything... I know this from my own personal experiences but old age has mellowed me some... Not as much testosterone in my system these days, kind of like a neutered dog.

The angry post was last year.... As of the 1st minute of this year he became the 1st Fit Freak to have put a turbocharger on his GE8 and go out for a drive.... He is happy now so just let it go and be happy that someone had the initiative to follow through on such a task and you know that boost is possible for GE8 owners... Personally I am in awe of what he has accomplished.

So to kind of follow up on the wastegate discussion.. for Lyon or anyone running a smaller 5 bolt garrett turbine on their Fit this is all you need to run a 38mm external gate.
The turbine wheel discharges through the 3" v-band downpipe and you can either dump the waste gate or recirculate downstream.
This one in particular was made by ShearerFab.
