Leaving the shifter housing in the stock location you can't make the distance as far away because you run into the floorboards because of lack of clearance. Therefore the change in the length from the fulcrum has to be shorter. What if the the T1R Shifter and say the OEM Shifter w/skunk2 attachment is the same length from the fulcrum to the tip? Then it could be as short correct? have you measured the T1R and the skunk2 or hfit side by side to say that the T1R isnt as long from the fulcrum to the tip which makes longer shifts?
Skunk2 states their kit shortens throw by 22%. AJ-R states the T1R shortens it by 35%. I dont think Ben would give us false numbers on this.
