From soft to hard settings, the T1R dampers definitely have wide range in tuning ability compare to the brands you mentioned. I think the nearest will be Mugen because they are the only other brand that make an adjustable shock. I would say the T1R is softer when it is full soft and a lil stiffer at full stiff comparing with Mugen 5 way.
