T1R Turbo Kit

Hi fellow Fitfreak's! At the request of Ben from AJ Racing, here is the final pic of the T1R Turbo Kit that is up for grabs now! The kits will be ready by next Friday at the latest and will ship by next weekend! Another big plus is the addition of the RC310 injectors with this kit!

This is their standard Blue E-Manage kit that will yield 145WHP.

For further information and ordering information, you can contact Ben @ AJ Racing <sales@aj-racing.com>.

BTW, I know this should be in the FI section, but Ben wanted me to post it up in here as FI is KW. Don't kill the messenger!!!

Awesome. I've already ordered it just waiting for the final pieces. Most of it is here and it's looking sweet.

Well, I trust the messenger. Nice thread, nice photo. I prefer s/c's, but now that I have a choice from two reliable manufacturers, I am happy to have a choice. Would not be as interested in any other sources for forced induction. Will wait for further info. and reviews. Thanks Illusive. You are a good choice as messenger.

LOL thanks man! Yeah it's a really tough decision, either SC or TC, both are good in their own ways and I'm glad we have one reliable option for each

has anyone run any more than the 6psi spring yet, i would be curious what it would be making @ 8-9 psi. Considering it makes 145 whp which is close to 60whp over stock, one would think the efficiency is close to 10whp per psi. So at 9spi you could be around the 170whp range, would that be a close assumption, has T1R ran any cars and have dyno sheets for anything above the base kit?

Yup, I believe the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate with upgraded injectors (which are now included with all their kits) run ~10PSI and make I think ~160+WHP. Don't hold me to that, but that's what I can remember...

I think from what I heard it was 10psi at roughly 190whp.

I wish I had the money to turbo my fit. I would love to be the only turbo fit cruising the streets around here. Hopefully the kit isnt too expensive.

I wonder if there are any negative effects to having a turbo'd fit in our climate here in Calgary.. anyone know? Is it bad to have one with -40C weather, freezing rain, salt spray on roads etc...?

I don't think it is an issue, I never had any problems with my Turbo'd car out here. Just make sure to warm up your car for a couple extra minutes longer.

I think factory ones are OK, but I'm not sure how the aftermarket ones will handle our crappy climate. Not sure how the salt will affect the turbo, but I don't think it'll have any issues.
