I got one. Planning on getting it tuned eventually, probably by Bisimoto or Church Automotives.

Not much if you're driving an AT like me.

I'm driving a mt and it doesn't show any difference, so is it still worth the money? How would it or does it make the i/h/e mach up and work in harmony

Well they say your bolt ons aren't at full potential unless you get it tuned. The base maps are whatever but once you get a proper map tuned by a tuner, you'll notice a difference. Some of the Fit members I've talked to that have had their cars tuned say it definitely makes a difference.

So does this mean the purchase of the hondata and then purchase of dyno time? And thank you for your responses

you can technically skip the custom tune and just live with the base maps

of course, those maps are no where near as good as getting a custom tune

I'm running a Hondata in mine. You basically either need to be able to self tune or get a custom tune.

The Hondata by itself doesn't add any power and neither will I/H/E mods. You need the mods AND a tune using the Hondata.

Think of the Hondata as a way to open up your factory ECU.

Other models, like the new Civic Si's, are way, way more supported and there's tons of built in tunes that you can try. For our unloved and forgotten GD Fit, there's just a few tunes available based on a handful of cars they tuned a long time ago.

So far I'm only using the Hondata to correct an idle issue with the aftermarket cam I installed and bump up the rev limiter a bit. Not a custom tune...just me tinkering with it.

Waiting till I have more time to dive into the car for serious mods before hitting the dyno and getting it dialed in.

I can tell you that, from playing with the Hondata software, you can make any/all necessary changes. Just need a decent tuner and dyno time.
