Sadly no, the Laser is the one getting the LSR cage mentioned above.

Unfortunately I don't think my GD will ever see 150mph. But I want to have a 0-60 in the high 4's low 5 sec range.. more importantly I want my 60-120 times in the mid 5 sec range. That is my real goal for the Fit.

So I figure it will take about 300lb-ft/300whp to do that on the current weight, gear set and aero.

The Fit goes under for surgery starting early-April if I keep up with side jobs and will be getting some boost, meth and a used FIC to start with.

Then I am moving on to MoTeC M84, but I don't think the Fit will get more than a removable Roll bar, 4 or 6pt.

It is my practical car and carries the parts for my Laser to and from my machinist, but I still want it to be fast!

I also take it camping, hunting, fishing and on extended road trips... unless I absolutely need to take my RAV4.

I only have a few items on the Fit at the moment, lightweight wheels, 7 range plugs and my own fuel blends, but my sticky tires are in storage at the moment.

This is because it is still under warranty and I don't feel like pulling things apart if something happens between now and April. So we are getting close

But the GD will immediately be getting a light flywheel, six puck disc, built bottom end and 20-22psi on a 34lb/min turbo drinking meth in the near future as funding allows.

It is hard having two project cars. Takes a long time. And it is only because of the RAV4 that I can consider doing this madness simultaneously.

If you guys want to see my Fit build go faster, bring me your cars and I will build and tune them for you at discount! I want a new job anyways!

I am not always in a$$hole mode, in real life I am very easy going.. just OCD about doing things "right." Which usually just means by the book and per proper torque specs, etc.

Lately it's only been maintenance and repair work because everyone's toys are put away for the winter!

@bthasht: Good job! looks very clean!!! almost looks as good as j's racing front spoiler!
Tempted to pull the trigger on somethin' like this, but i'm worried it would seem awkward on a base Fit... and i already spent sooo much on my car this year...

@DSM: well i would definitly trust you for tuning my car, but chicago his a 18 hours road trip from where i live! maybe someday it would be worth it!

Your's and Cat's cars always look so very nice and some of the newer guys are doing up some nice ones too.... Cat and you have kept your cars nice for a long time better than about anyone.

Visors

Dayum, Big Mike!! Those window visors look clean and sharp... I noticed you have a wrinkle or two in yur hood bra. I used to have one of these magnetic bra's on my ride for about a year, the upkeep is simple just wash and wax it as you do yur ride. Once in a while you can remove it and clean underneath if it has been on for a while.

KC. I had a similar bra on my Dodge Stratus. It is like a pocket that fits over the front of the hood and a couple of elastic straps underneath that fit into any holes on the hood bracing.

I now just let them sag or toss over the shoulder

Like a continental soldier.

That reminds me of the old Lucky Strike approach!

I've got an OEM bra and thing is it doesn't reach over to the head light like Pereinoid's does.

What did you feed your wife to get her to help you sow stuff for your car? And where do I get some?
