What did you do to the GD Fit today?
Thanks!
Yep like Back3Sr said Chuck it's just a pocket. So any road trips this spring planned yet? We're getting into the 60's here for a bit. I'm looking 4ward to the EC Honda Show in Richmond, VA. How's that future son-in-law and ur daughter?

install was 95. they were saying that they usually charge 120 but they are easy to bargain with plus i was referred by someone they know and did 2 of his cars. and i also have my girl's integra lined up to get done. but yeah, 95.
oh and i bought the side marker assy separate. i can get them for 40. lamp, socket, wiring harness. all u need is a pair of the bulbs and $95 bux and ur good! give them a call if u want it done so that they can set up an appointment. they're legit. tell them David with the white fit sent u.
Got my fifth set of wheels last night, and they look great. Rota circuit 8s in 16x7 +40. With kumho 205/40/16 all around. Got them drying now. Painted hammered gold with clear.
They tuck gorgeously. I had my third alignment friday, by a shop that deals with lowered hondas. They set me at -1 front camber. 16s tuck great.
Rota center caps ordered, but not in yet.

Looks great B but your in need of a set of air shocks for that baby! A set of Monroe's will get that fender off your tire and add 1,500 lbs of extra load capacity!! HeHeHe

Give them the paint code and they send paint, order clear as well. Remove the parts, sand with 400 grit, wax remover clean it, paint color coats, then clear.
Winglets came from rocksagd3 on here. He custom makes them. They will come unpainted for $100.
And thank you for your comment. It means alot to me.
The Fit was at exactly 68,840 when I did the adjustment. I feel bad that I hadn't done it earlier..... it's not easy to find extra time with two kids and a wife needing you for things. I'm on my first tank of gas after the adjustment. I'm interested to see if it did anything for gas mileage too. It's not running as harshly that’s for sure.
Adjusting the valves isn't hard at all. Getting to them was a bit of a pain. The manual suggests taking the entire intake manifold off along with the throttle body. It's not necessary. I separated the plastic part of the intake from the metal portion, disconnected the intake sensors and vac hoses and swung it all out of the way- leaving the coolant lines connected to the TB and it all resting by the battery. This gave me access to the valve cover. A few bolts and that's off- allowing access to the rockers. All you need is a flat head screw driver, a 10mm box end wrench, feeler gauges (I suggest getting the ones that have an angle to them), and a bit of RTV sealant. Follow the procedure, and put it back together.
Being super careful and having to try a few different routes for the intake mani, it took me roughly 2 3/4 hours. Now that I've done it, I'd say it can be done in 1 1/2 to 2.
