What did you do to the GD Fit today?

Was driving this morning on my way to meet up a friend and as I was coming off of a red light, my clutch felt weird. After engaging in second gear, I was no long able to shift out into other gears. I pulled over and tried to run through the gears and was unable to. When I turn off my car though, I'm able to without much problem but when it's running, I can't.
I managed to drive to my local mechanic to get it checked out and he said that the clutch was going to have to be replaced. What the hell?
I drive my car (GD3 with under 60k miles) like a baby and don't race at all. This is also the third MT car I've owned so I honestly don't believe that it's my driving habit at all. Did anyone else have this problem?
I looked around a little on the forums and it seemed like a few of you guys did. Are the clutches in the Honda Fits faulty? My old civic was well into the 100k miles and never had any problems...

After being parked for the last two months in my cluttered garage. I finally cleaned it out and added some shoo accessories. Since it is an apartment garage I have to make due with what I can. I added some shop lighting and a new Shop Vac.
That left me with plenty of room to begin removal of the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter to make room for my T1R header and test pipe. It will be a great addition to my Skunk2 Mega Power cat-back exhaust! =)

I picked up a couple of bargains last weekend.
A new and unused Spoon Sports Venturi Throttle Body and a 2nd hand Mugen Short Shifter (worth almost £700 in total) which i picked up for just £100!
Spoon Sports Venturi Throttle Body:
Mugen Short Shifter:
I fitted the Spoon Sports Venturi Throttle Body at lunchtime yesterday, but as i ran out of time, I had to wait for my drive home to test it out.
I wasn't too sure what to expect from the new unit (as the throttle opening is still the same size), but i'm really quite pleased with it. Throttle response has improved considerably, when you blip the throttle, the engine picks up immediately. Mid-range power seems a little better too, however i can't feel much of a difference at high revs.
I would say it's a definitely a worthwhile mod, especially with the bargain price i got it for.
This morning i got to work early to fit my Mugen Short Shifter.
It was a quick and easy mod to perform, think i had everything stripped out and refitted within 30 minutes...
Comparison of OEM (Left) vs Mugen (Right):

went out to the garage, looked at the car and got pissed off/depressed its not running then went back inside.
I did poke around some more. Not 100% sure I am using the volt meter correctly but it seems like everything is working. Also looking through the service book I don't need to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump, whew.
I will probable pull the driver seat out tomorrow and see if I cant get the pump out, or maybe not lol

^^ Nah you shouldn't have to drop the tank, just remove the center console and there should be an access plate to the fuel tank for the pump. (Going from memory here)
Today, I finally ditched the 205/55R15s. Mounted and balanced a set of 195/55R15 Yokohama AVID ENVigors at work. Was too cheap to have a tire shop do it... PLUS the last time a tire shop mounted new tires on my GD they over tightened the lug nuts which in turn caused my brake rotors to warp. -.-

When it rains it pours, in the Fit!!
I found the drivers side, front and back damp yesterday and the rear passenger's. From what I have found here @ FF it's the plastic water shield between the door and door panel. who has had this and did the new plastic barrier fix it? Any input would be appreciated .
Thank-ya

Check the power and ground wires to the fuel pump. If those wires are good then its the pump. If those wires are bad.. could be a number of things. Wiring, fuses, computer, ect....
