I like my 16X6.5"45mm Kosei K4Rs. They aren't as light as my 15X7"41mm Enkei RPF1s but I've noticed that even with larger, heavier 205-50-16" Goodyear GT tires the narrower rims and less amount of offset doesn't require as much dampening adjustment and or spring preload as the RPF1s do with 195-55-15" Conti Pro Contact tires... There is no clearance problems with them either where with RPF1s and smaller tires there would be under some situation unless I doubled the amount of clicks on the damper adjustment... The heavy tires have done a number on acceleration but they stick so well when cornering it is difficult to not slide out of the drivers seat when negotiating tight left curves.

Put the coilovers back on the car and sorted out a few noise issue's. had to zip tie the ARB in place because the OEM end links are too long.

Just rolling on the stock wheels for a while.

Changed out the license plate lights for 6000-deg LED's... and broke the tabs on both lenses I can't understand how it's possible to remove these plastic parts without breaking them. The lights were exactly the effect I was going for, though: a bright, slight blue effect on my silver. Looks okay under street lights, awesome in the dark.

I checked the tire pressure on my stock Dunnies, and it was 30psi out of max 51! I bought CPO in April, presumably they didn't fill them up. I increased to 46, and I don't think I'm imagining the significant improvement in cornering tightness. I'm hoping to exercise her more tomorrow.

Next I'm looking at adding Swift springs, and a leather Wheelskin for the steering wheel. Also iron out some bodywork to the hood and front lip. I've been toying with the idea of adding a Weapon-R street header, but I'm thinking whatever meager HP increase won't warrant the $220 and risk of breaking bolts.

I have the 15x7s in matte gray and love them to death! Lightweight, cheap and easy to clean. ^.^

Look for the tab/indention on the lens and take a pocket (or very small) screw driver, wedge it in that tab/indention and it should easily pull out.

As for tire pressure, 51 PSI is the max for the tire and IS NOT the recommended tire pressure for the car itself. That pressure is 32 PSI so your tires are over-inflated and will cause the center of your tire's tread to wear more than the rest of the tread.

You just over-inflated your tires. 30 PSI was closer to the recommended pressure than 46 PSI. PSI goes up with temperature and load, so you're not supposed to be shooting for the max PSI.

I didn't want 16s due to not wanting to buy new tires, being able to access a huge source of 205/50R15 racing slicks near by for my 15x7s, and not wanting 16s in the first place at that time.

Last night I was coming home at 8pm. Getting on the freeway I was stuck behind a slow car, again. We end up enter the freeway at 30 mph. It just so happens though that there was no traffic behind us. So i moved over one lane right away and just layed into the gas. Keeping my foot into it and bringing it to redline before each shift I move to the fast lane. im doing probable 75-80 mph by know and ready to slow down. I then notice the car im coming up to very fast in the middle lane has something on its roof. Oh god thats a light bar, I think to my self, as my heart skips a beat.

sure enough I just flew up onto a state trooper at 70 mph in a 60. by the time I have passed him I had it slowed down to 60ish and as expected he pulls in right behind me. Fuck fuck fuck as i think how am I going to explain my asshattery to this officer. I keep very careful to keep it at 60 and waiting for those dreaded red and blue lights to turn on. Then the officer moves back to the middle lane and passes me after following me for about a half mile. He takes the exit I was going to take so to play it safe and get as far away as I ould from the officer I ended up taking the long way home, all the while being very mindful of my speed.

I can't count how many times that I have had similar experiences.. It seems to happen most often when I am on freeways in Dallas.. The cops appear to be shocked to see an old man with disabled veteran license plates in a loud fast moving little car...

Thanks, I've always loved the way they look. I think they look better with a lower offset, but I wanted something that wouldn't rub (the Kosei's at 38 rub, but look cool). They aren't too expensive, also not the lightest wheel out there. Took a long time to be made and get shipped here from England, but I'm pretty happy with them.

Didn't do anything to mine physically but spent hours trying to figure out a good way to clean then protect my headlights from oxidizing...Had them cleaned by a shop about a year ago but they look horrible again.

Does anyone on here have a proven method? I've seen just about every article everywhere but they mix their methods up. Sanding, or buffing, clear-coating, waxing, Lamin-X; no one can make up their mind.
