Lemme know what you think of those tyres. I'm considering them for my summer rims. Also, lemme know how noisy they are.

I picked mine up used at 8/32s tread with a little chew so my initial road noise review on them will not be accurate; however...

Just for the record there is an updated version called the AD08R due to be released this month.

Juan, how did you order the bar in Canada? Also, did you disassemble the suspension to install it?

Hmmm... Got a Honda notice in yesterday's mail about another upcoming power window master switch recall for 07-08 model year Fits. Needed parts are supposed to be available in the fall as per the notice...

See my post here:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...ge-5-a-38.html

Ordered from kseriesparts.com. Shipped free to Blaine, WA and just drove across the border & picked it up there. I'm like 25 minutes from Blaine.

I've got Swift springs. I thought I'd have to unbolt the rear shocks but when I jacked up the car I found that I had just enough space to simply pull out the Swifts. I would guess that this would be the case for any springs shorter than stock. I also left the wheels on.

I put the GD through its paces a little yesterday and today. Mighty impressed with the Tokico HTS dampers, Ground Control adjustment sleeves, and Eibach springs. It feels like a totally different car during cornoring.

The recall isn't too bad of hastle. Should take less than approximately 30 minutes if no parts are needed from start to finish.

Funny you talk about blowing some carbon off your Fit. I just posted this: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/othe...s-tickets.html

And thanks for the heads up. Yeah it didn't sound too complex. Just a simple R & R. Hope you're doin' well!

I got that notice today. I never went in to get the window checked out and I am still very hesitant about brining my fit to them for this.

Man if you were a local here I'd have your Fit in and out pretty quick for the recalls. The only concern would be the SRS update/recall if your GD is an 2007 and the light switch recall if you did the independent fog light wiring.

Hey, things are great just extremely busy and I'll post in your thread when I get off work in a bit. Yeah, window switch isn't too hard at all, it takes me vaguely 10 minute to do start to finish if the part is ok.

Parts won't be available till this Fall as per the notice. We should be getting a 2nd letter when the parts are available at the local dealerships.

Ah, I'm glad you said something haha! I went back and reread the notice and caught that.

Guess I'll just be cleaning the car this weekend.

That's what I'm going to do when I get mine. I'm pretty sure this "part" they're waiting for is just an extended skirt of plastic to replace the previous recall. >_<
