Yeah, that's a nice price for something like that! Right hand drive and everything. I saw one here in Vegas too, it wasn't really that well kept (messed up paint, different colored body panels, etc.) but I'm guessing it was a future project car.

It's nice to know 1989 is now 25 years ago so the r32 can legally be imported as a collector car in the USA.

New axle back on the Fit today! Grabbed it off ebay for $100. Not a fan of cheap parts but i wanted a muffler with a turndown tip. J's is the sh!t but i wasn't going to spend $$$$ for a 50mm exhaust that will have to be removed when I go boost. Sounds good (for now).

I picked up some solid GSR blades for my fit. First set of rims for this car. Bought the car in 2007. Took this long to get rims. Need to get tires for the rims. Rims came with bald tires. $180 for the rims. Can't get tires today. Will be doing that tomorrow then slapping them on the fit. The rims are painted black and 2 wheel caps were painted black. Going to replace all 4 wheel caps so they look mint and will be stripping the paint and polishing them real soon.

GOOD SCOOP I love oldschool oem rims I am in the market for some rubber to wrap around my 15" Acura EL rims, the 15 spoke will look very nice imo on the fit. I am also considering plastidiping them white for a very busy look on the shoes. It would compliment the white sohc decal on my MR paint. Although I am reconsidering now that the CF hood throws it into a clash of colors.... any thoughts on white rims and black hood on red car?

I am always a fan of white rims personally. But with my blades I want polished. I am also a fan of OEM and always loved the prelude and GSR blades since I was 16.

They were posted yesterday, 20 mins later I bought em. Got home, 30 posts on the Facebook wall. So lucky I moved on em. Two previous sales fell through. One was $230, next was $250, third time I got em for $180. Worked out for me. Minus I need to strip the black paint awful job and need 4 new centre caps. But eh I'm not complaining.

Here is a photo of them. Not a fan of the black. I want the OEM polished look. That I will do in November once the paint chips away and I change the rims for winter. I'll work on them all winter. Haha. Or I may just take one off at a time on a rainy day. Pics on car will come soon. Tomorrow I'm getting tires so hopefully they go on the rims as well. Will hit the lake for a photo shoot when they go on haha.

Always liked colored wheels over chrome or aluminum. I know sometimes it can get loud but the right wheel will do justice.

Nice wheels GinoLicious! I think the black looks good also.

I got my vx wheels on finally today, sorry for the crappy quality iPod pic.

Hmm. The black looks good on a silver fit. I myself roll in I silver as well. I may keep them black. Mind you they were not painted by me and I feel they will need to be repainted as they have already flaked lol. I might just keep them black for the time being. I feel like a little kid on Christmas.

If I were to consider GSR wheels, I would consider nothing but polished/chrome. Anything else just makes them look cheaper than they were...

My vx wheels are in the process of being redone. I just got them and the paint is quite bad. I'm taking them down to the bare aluminum and repainting black. I've noticed that they were also white, red, green, black and silver underneath the grey. But 13" wheels IMO look best in dark colors to somewhat mask the small diameter. Mine will be either shiny or matte black.

The GSR Blades do have an excellent oem shine that's for sure. One of my fav oem wheels!

Yup, took lots of brake mod to get it to work. I have hx wheels too but wanted to give the lighter wheels a try. I'm going to run 25 mm spacers for more clearance because there's only about 1 mm of clearance with the caliper the way it is now.

With the 13" tire I would imagine your tire selection would be limited. Why not just go with a light weight 15"? Are you racing the vehicle?

Honestly it seems like you're gonna go off-roading with those beefy tires and small rims.

I am feeling the same way. I keep going out to look at it. I picked up mine finally after almost 5 yrs. They are Rota Slips and ONLY $100 Cdn I got them back in Jan off Kijji. THen in Mar found a set of correct tires one year old for $400. Another $100 to mount and balance and install at my Dodge dealer. I am happy. Oh then spent another $65 for center caps.

I plan on drag racing it once or twice a year. I went with the smaller wheel for not only the price but the option to run smaller diameter tire to increase the final drive. Tire selection is very limited but regular tires are quite cheap. I did not buy these for the looks and they currently have winter tires on them which definitely makes them look like off road tires lol. I would like to get some 185/60r13s so that'll reduce the sidewall height a bit and give better accel due to smaller diameter overall.
