Yesterday I recieved and intalled my front shock tower bar, my c-pillar bar, my red steering wheel emblem, and my mugen resevoir covers The c-pillar bar actually seems noticable in tightening up the rear end on hard turns and fast lane changes.

I put my back wheels on axle stands, removed my hidden hitch that is all nasty and rusty (I will have to sand and repaint it).

While it was up there, I gave my HFP muffler a once over with APC, then clayed and polished with a terry cloth and some Mother's Mag and aluminum polish. Took some elbow grease but my tailpipe looks presentable now

I like the way that looks. Have been thinking about doing the same when I paint my headlights.I would have masked off the reflectors though.

You should have left the reflectors though! The bulbs look really prominent against the black paint. I like it otherwise.

This happened last night. Wife avoided a dog and hit a curb. Wheel and tire are done. I believe the strut is done as well, plus the side airbag went off. She was totally ok. Insurance is looking it over for fixing. LAME. No AutoX this week or next!

I hope they are able to fix your car soon. I know the feeling of not having a car for a week. I couldn't drive mine for a week since I first bought it

Yeah I should hear back today. I plan to get it to my buddies shop ASAP so we can have it on the road soon. If it's nothing to serious I might be able to have it on the road for next weeks race.

Had to bring my car in to a garage to install the UR pullies and T1R springs. I don't feel so bad for not bein able to do it myself because they are having a tough time with the damper bolts too. Everyone is seized! Lets just say I haven't got the car back yet but at least it's someone else's headache.....until I get the bill, lol. Both UR pullies and the rear springs are currently on but the strut mounts on the front will need to be replaced after the torching it will require.

Tell the missus to just hit the brakes rather than swerving.

Your life > Dog.

Yeah it's understandable. I would have done the same for a dog. At low speeds it's not that bad but how the vehicle hit the curb really did the damage.

So the insurance company is fixing the Fit. It's going to be a little over $6K in damages. It's crazy to think its that much but the airbag is the killer of the price. Plus you add all the small things like new headliner airbag deploy rips it), 2 tires, a wheel, front bumper and lip, reprint fender (bumper scared it), and a new coilover. I'll be having a great shop, JDM Concepts working on it. Car should be ready to go in 2 weeks.

I like the way it turned out and it doesn't seem to have affected the brightness of the bulbs much. The original reflector area is not as shiney/polished as one would think it should be.

In other news, I had my unorthodox pullies and T1R springs installed today. Definite cornering improvement...noticeably rougher ride with stock shocks. No real butt dyno gains with the pulleys except now i seem to be able to chirp 2nd gear.

Where did you get your UR pulleys? What's the going price on those bad boys? Thanks!

I got them at www.SparktecMotorsports.com but you can also order them directly from UR but they did not have them listed on the website so you have to call. They are a little pricey but they are the lightest and will take 4.40 lbs off the drivetrain.
