Just a simple wash and dry today. Along with cleaning the windows inside and out with glass cleaner and newspaper as that hasn't been done in a while.

Seems my "What did you do to the GD Fit today?" replys are 80% wash, wax, and maintenance related things, lol.

And on that note, I washed it and cleaned the inside of the front windshield and dusted the dashboard a little. Then I called ICBMotorsports and asked when they are getting the next shipment of Mugen window visors. When they come in I'm going to get the visors, the Spoon convex rear view mirror, and Spoon shift knob in Duracon because Arizona has about 13 months of Summer and the shift knob gets hot sometimes.

Can't go wrong with cleaning the Fit too much right?

The spoon convex mirror you mentioned is a nice idea, I just looked it up on JHPUSA.

I'm also waiting on the red "Fit" dot to come in. I've had it on order almost 2 full months now from evasive motorsports. Everytime I e-mail them I get another week or 2 weeks as a reply. He says they're definitely coming in though.

I love it when "two weeks" was three weeks ago.

If I could find a convex mirror that clips onto the existing rear view mirror I would just buy that. I'm more of a fan of the functionality of a product rather than the name. I bought a 400mm mirror but I couldn't mount it and fold the sun visors so I took it off and gave it to a friend. 300mm might work, but I haven't found any. I haven't really looked either, so that might be why.

I have the spoon rear view on mine and I like it more than the Broadway it replaced. It took a little bit of time getting used to though. The middle sticks out, which bothered me at first but now I don't really notice.

Edit: here is a Broadway convex http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0040975KK?pc_redir=1404974660&robot_redir=1

Any of you GD 3 owners having this issue and if so how did you fix. I noticed a week ago my driver side sun visor will not stay up flat against the roof of the Fit. The passenger side is still good but most of the time it is just me traveling. It is dropping down about one inch from where it should be. I unlatched the visor and played with it some but it still doesn't want to stay in the up position. Doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the latch or the visor just droopy!

Is the window visor attach clip worn out? Just use some tape to shim it if the collar is stretched. When its hot out its important to keep from being to hard on your car because plastic is more supple. As for what Ive done I am experimenting with a rubber eraser wedged inside of my motor mount to stiffen it up and not cause damage to the preexisting one. I also did topped up all fluid levels.

Ordered new tires for the 2012 Fit, 35,000 miles later the tires are still hanging on, but on life support. Did a full detail, wax and shampooed everything. Next weekend, I need to flush the brake fluid and look at the brakes.

I'd lean closer to a bad sun visor. I've replaced many.

Agreed, I don't know of any way to fix a loose visor.

Put a DC Sports Exhaust on, and lowered it an inch and a half!

The end result should be 10 or more WHP and way better handling.
That's awesome news! Which front sway bar were you thinking of getting and which spring/coilover combination are you going with? For the header, why not get a racing header? It'll run a lot better then a header and catalytic converter combo.

The shop ordered me the Blox front sway. I guess Eibach makes the product. As for the rear we went Progress. The Fit has K Sports now with custom spring rates, but we might go even stiffer especially in the rear.

As far as the header combo we I either going with the Weapon R race header or T1R if we can get on. Tony and the shop owner are good friends so he might be able to make it happen. If thats the case it will be the T1R header, DP, and B pipe.

After that it will be a retune and weigh and balance each corner. Really looking forward to getting the car. Its been a minute so I hope I remember how to drive it hahaha.

Might as well get the weapon r race header, it's only $420 from some sites.

Yeah the WR is nice. I've seen great results with T1R as well. Again if I cannot get the T1R header (which is probably going to be the case) then the WR will be the choice.

get the weapon r race header. I dont think anyone has tuned a 4-2-1 header for the fit yet. Im really curious if more power could be had from the better scavaging of a long tube header.

Rollerboots, are you turning your Fit strictly into a track car or will it be your dd as well?

plan to bleed the brakes, change the rear drum pads, front brake pads & rotors this weekend -- and if I have enough time install my T1R VIP axleback

Forgive my noobness, but 4-2-1 means the four exhaust ports go to two tubes then down to one that mates with the downpipe?
