Well i pick up my J's grill and lip tonight!! Hmm i might be geting a T1R VIP exaust from AJR. I always wanted one and there back for a limited time. I did not want to spend any more money for a while on the car. But this is my all time favorite exaust. Decisons to tap into my saveings or not.

Wiped off what was left of the paw prints today. Yesterday's rain got most of the mud from the prints and didn't leave water spots on the car, which was surprising.

Washed and detailed for the first time since she went into the repair shop. Felt the love from my shiny new-ish baby as I took her to the local custard place for some ice cream.
Pat how did you end up getting the B-pipe separated? Cro-magnon style?

Which show is the cuztum Fit going to this weekend? Take some pix for us pls. Ya got a cool ride there should bring in some trophies.
Sorry to see the high priced tickets from the Richmond show.
I got my Fit inspected last month @ a friend of mine's shop and he busted on me with the blue tails and parking lights and asked if the headlights (blue) were DOT. Changed out the whole lot back to the original bulbs, It's too exspencive when the tickets come in.

Found a shop that sells surplus GD1 A/C compressors...for way less than what a new one would cost. Fingers crossed!

I hope all goes well and you get your A/C working soon... I can't handle high humidity and heat and we have had 17 days straight with 100+ high temperatures and the forecast is for more of the same... I know it must be real bad in Manila.

Just adopted the cage-mod to MAP/MAF of my Jazz and used the same silicone based grease to fill coils plugs/receptacles, this small trick added many benefit in my tdi.

BTW I have two questions about coil structure:
- how is it possible to dismantle the coil? Should I pull parts to open it?
- I know in general what a fuses is supposed to do (protection) but I'm just wondering what is it protecting just in front of the spark...

Ciao!

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I'm off work tomorrow (Friday here) so here's hoping it gets fixed by then...if not Friday then I might have to wait another week.

Back to topic:
I miss the butch stance of my old 16x7 Rota Circuit 10s, but there's one thing they absolutely cannot do: return great fuel economy numbers in city driving.

On my GD3/8 OEM 15x6 wheels, I just clocked 413 km and my tank is still a bit off empty. I'm filling up after work, but if I was intent on stretching every liter out of the 42L fuel tank I could probably break the 450 km mark. Considering the wheels are just 2 lb lighter and the rubber probably an additional 4-5 lb off the old wheel/tire combo, this is a good improvement.
