2010 Purchased in Dec 09 with 53K miles still on original battery. It died once when my dad forgot to turn off the headlights.

Interesting. Mine takes a few more cranks than usual recently but not any slower. Maybe why.

97k on my 2010 original battery has never died. I'm sure it will die tomorrow now.

I was told my 2009 Honda Fit would need a new battery before Christmas. I'm on a road trip and am currently on the other side of the country from my home and my battery needed a jump. He's still in working order but the battery needs to be replaced ASAP.

pro-tip: Don't try to get up a steep dirt hill in a Fit.

I am, but it will be replaced soon. Four years of cold starts and block heater issues means mine is just about at the end of its life. Not to mention that it died completely three times. I think I'll be switching to a different brand this time. Not sure who.

09, purchased late 2008, 46K miles, original battery.

hell, one of my other cars is a 04, purchased in 2004, original battery.

trick is keep the battery on a battery manager while car is not in use if for more than a couple of days, add distilled water when needed.

Car bought in April '09, battery will be changed this week end as it does not hold the charge. 100,000 miles driven.

Replaced mine with a 51R shortly after the battery warranty expired {at that time there was a national shortage of Honda 151Rs (long waits for one were common) and aftermarket 151Rs were not yet widely available}. Didn't and still don't trust such a tiny battery. I don't wait to get stranded before replacing my cars' batteries. Getting stranded once in the wrong place or time can cost much more than the savings of running a battery until it life's final gasp!
