Did you blow the engine? Or just looking to upgrade with a new motor and parts?

Wow, good for you. 400 is a pretty lofty number, but definitely can be done with the right parts. You might need a parachute on the back of that thing to slow you down haha. Definitely will follow the new build if you decide to post it.

I see most folks running larger injectors and fuel pump with turbo kits, but is it necessary?

Thinking of ordering the zage kit for my 09 sport, curious how much power I'll be able to make with just the kit and a tune before I'm fuel limited.

stock injectors max out at 130 whp. Duty cycles run close to 100 and makes the knock control pull mad timing.

I have the sage kit on my 09 stick. Clutch starts to slip at 150wtq.

blew a rod out the front and rear of the pan at 187wtq and 10 psi. The internal wastegate on the TD04HL-15g turbo is set for 6 psi. I have an ebc but you can preload the wastegate.

it made 135 whp with a stock timing map and fuel modified at 6 psi. I disabled knock control past boost which was a very VERY bad idea.

granted 187wtq is fun as hell... having to get a $200 tow back home to an angry wife was not.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll probably stick with the internal wastegate and run the larger injectors to start off with.

I'm not interested in making a huge amount of power, you're kind of limited in what you can put down in a rallycross environment anyway. A little more oomph that's fairly reliable is what I'm shooting for.

I agree, a proper diff and tires are the most important thing for rallycross. But adding the turbo wouldn't hurt anything
