Thanks for the write-up! Im going to try to install it this weekend. One quick question: Will this blink red when the doors are locked and the car is running? My doors are set to lock when I put the car in gear. Im hoping its totally off when the car is running. So I guess my real question is: What happens when the car is running?
Thanks in advance!

I just finished wiring my keyring but it isnt lighting up blue when unlocked. When I lock the doors its red and blinking. I followed niko's directions exactly but I couldnt tell which fuse spot he used. Would it matter if I picked a different spot? When I plugged it in the door chime stopped. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

it shouldn't matter what fuse slot you choose as long as it's constantly
hot. meaning 12V positive even when car is off.
also make sure all your connections are good.
