I didn't do anything to my benzel.
09's must have a bigger hole.
just get a sharp blade and cut some
out. thats the best thing i can think of
for now.
keep us posted on what you did though.
Methinks I'll keep it like it is. I had to ask, though.

Thanks, again!

Sorry if this is a N00b question but I'm not much of a Car-Know-It. I take it this kit is for electric locks only? Or can the car sensor when a manual lock is engaged?

Besides that great guide!

thats a no for the manual locks.
the key ring itself needs a signal from
power locks in order to work properly.

now if you want you can also hook it up to
the dome light wiring. but it all depends
if your dome light stays on after you close
your door.

That might do the trick, my dome light does stay on for a few seconds after I close the door. So how would the lights work...

Flashes red when the car is off?
Blue or Red while the dome light is on?

Thanks for your time, Mitch!

Lightbulb

The newer version of the LED key ring will only work with power door locks...
But I do have 3 older versions... that will work with the dome light trip wire...

If you get the older version like JDM says.
then you can do it.
but you wont have red. just blue long enough
to put the key in.
