I just checked my manual and yes it doesn't specify a procedure to unlock ALL doors, so my bad.

Nevertheless, I must've used the method on page 87 and it worked in unlocking all my doors. I also remember this feature on my 08 Accord, so it was kinda fresh in my memory.

Is the new fit like some cars where if the door is locked, you can just pull on the handle and it automatically unlocks and opens the door?

I've also tried C5MT's method with no luck. Holding unlock for the two clicks is what the '09 owners manual specifies to unlock only the drivers door.

You guys have your engines off when going through the procedure?

Did you guys immediately take the key outta the ignition after you hear the 2nd click?

You're done.

Hope that works.
Worked great on my Sport A/T. Thanks!

Ooohh! I got that one too! Thing is I bought a dealer aftermarket additional security system that has the bump and glass sensitive sensors. I had the installer show me how to turn off that chirp, which involves a button that he put on. Real simple, similar to the door lock thing.

Do you have this button? Otherwise I don't know how to turn off the chirp without it.

That's what did the trick. Without this option enabled, power door locks on the '09 Fit makes no sense for the passengers. The omission of this in the manual is a material oversight. Yet, even with this functionality, the car still feels incomplete without a power lock switch at each door.

Other than that, few to no complaints. The nav/vsa package is nice, especially with the radio controls on the wheel.

I just got the alarm installed. The alarm is by Omega. It came with a small "operation guide" and it mentions that chirp can be turned off but the stupid thing leaves out how to actually do it. I don't know about an extra button. All I have is the Honda keyless entry keys which works the alarm. I'll have to go back to the dealer and ask them. I need an excuse to drive somewhere anyway.

Thanks to everyone who posted suggestions to this omission in the Honda manual. C5MT got me through it (after I realized that I had to take the key out when done!)
Now all doors unlock when the car is put in park. yippee!

Worked for me, but I heard 3 clicks. One immediately, then 2 more 5 seconds apart.

Thanks!

It Works!

I tried the method of holding the door locks a few times without success. The key to it (no pun intended) is to take the key out IMMEDIATELY after hearing the second click. Once I did that, it worked!
