What did you do to your GE fit today?
I'm about due for some tires, the AD08s at almost 24000km are about done. Actually the fronts currently are not bad, so will probably just swap those back to the rear where they were and pick up some new fronts. Definitely can't complain with the numerous touge runs I've done, 3 time attack events and almost 15000k miles as well as their grip in winter, not big snow, mostly slush, but Yokohama rates them down to 0C(32F) and they have been on the car even with 4" of snow a few times. So once again I will stick with them.
So going to the Yokohama shop after work.

Everyone seems to say Dunlops wear faster though.
So the install of the swifts is finally done.
I would like to say that it was easy, but after having to replace a rear shock and a a front strut due to stripping the threads on one and cracking the top of the threaded part of the strut due to a stubborn nut... echh.
In the end it cost me about 2 days longer (mostly due to waiting for parts) and a a couple hundred dollars more than I thought. (A shock and a strut)
End result? Fantastic. I'll regret this in a couple weeks when I feel the hit in my wallet, but right now just simply loving the difference in stance and performance.

I removed the meepmeep horn to avoid future embarrassments in traffic. A Stebel Nautilus upgrade will be installed shortly. Every so often a less-than capable individual who is unable to succesfully multi-task behind the wheel requires a small audio reminder

I can hardly wait

I had to take my sister her binder (that she left at home) at school. scrapped my bumper pretty good on the incline getting out of the parking lot (inevitable). probably almost tore my hd lip too. ehhhh. price you pay lol
hey 555- did you get your new tires?
not much for me, i found some hugearse bird crappage on my GE so removed it before it did any damage. the hells wrong with birds with IBS.... or maybe it's racially motivated.

Forgot my iPod inside at work, hopped out with the car running, out of gear and the hand brake off. Realized it halfway to the door and turned arround just in time to watch it roll itself into a lamp post.
Nice big gouges in the bumper and broke the tow point attachment cover. Thankfully no other damage but it's aggravating at 8,200 miles and having bought the car in April.
I will have to get some body filler and paint and clean it up.

Changed the auto transmission oil with Honda's synthetic....wow that was so easy and I love the the way it shifts through the gears.....only have 30k on my 09 Sport, but heard it's a good idea not to wait until 60k
I installed 15mm spacers in the rear to get rid of the super tucked in look of the back wheels. 4 days ago I installed my Swift springs and I LOVE the way it makes the car look, and the way it drives. I also removed the tints on the tail lights.
I'm gunna try to make some splitters tomorrow.

Taking her out for the first time since the weekend. Been using the Ridgeline since Irene devastated Vermont. We lost at least 4 or 5 covered bridges and the flood waters are STILL RISING in some areas. Almost all East/West Roads across southern Vermont are Gone. and Killington has been destroyed (Rt 4 to killington is gone, base lodge is gone, many businesses are gone)
Sad.
