Do the rear ones light up too?

Here's the pic of the recent HID projector install and custom fabricated 2" receiver hitch I welded up this weekend. The hitch is great and doesn't hang down below the bumper like the aftermarket units Name: HIDprojectorSpread.png

Gotcha.
Did you happen to price the Modulo LED side skirts? Been wanting those, but the price has kept me away. $$$$ for just side skirts? I can't justify it.

I saw a replica set on ebay about a year or more ago which were basically the same styling like the JDM/Modulo one's you got, but both front and rear lit up.
These right here:

Been looking for those for a while, haven't seen them since.

Damn those look awesome. I bet they are much cheaper than what I paid for mine, however I'm sure I paid up the ass for the oem wiring harness.

As far as the LED sideskirts, I didn't bother looking for them in Hong Kong, however I've seen em for sale in Rakuten (~$750)

Got a carwash today. Bought some goo gone and cleaned up adhesive residue i left from the plastic cover on the led door sills. Installed the 3d Red Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel insert. Had to snip off some from the side inserts since they were too long. I think i bought the version for a Honda Freed. Oh well, not too noticeable and damn that red looks damn nice.

Thumbs up

If that style (both F&R lit) was available from Honda I'd gladly pay $$$ to get them, especially for their OEM-ness & the OEM connectors.
I'm not a big fan off replica's/knock offs.

They replica's I posted a pic of were ~$50 iirc, but it was a new seller with no feedback, and they never replied to my question(s). So I decided to opt on the safe side. Never seen them listed again
I got a price from some one else for them at almost $200 for the knock-offs, not worth it to me.

Yeah, saw that too a few weeks ago when I read Item's posts. A little cheaper than japanparts, but still a lot just for side skirts... might do what some GD guys did with the custom "welcome lights" on the OEM skirts.

But, then again, you could have all kinds of issues. Damaged tire, wheel, suspension/alignment... who knows.
Sidewall damage $136 (installed) for 1 new crappy OEM dunlop tire.

when I got my bubble in my OEM tire... that's when I said "fuck it."

ordered a new set of wheels (Enkei 16x7 +43), new set of tires (Continental DWS 205/50/16), added TPMS and had Tirerack do the mounting and balancing for it. that way, when they arrived, I just popped them on my Fit.

Sure, it costs a LOT more than one tire... but I feel much better about it.

plus, if I get a flat, I can swap to one of the remaining 3 OEM tires without having to ride on the donut for long. I kept the OE set.

Yeah, those aren't going to stay on. Especially because the surface they're adhered to is textured. If you want a new steering wheel emblem look, this is the ONLY way to go - GrafiXpressions - Express yourself in vinyl form!....

And why the RS emblem?

saw a bunch of RSs while i was in HK and thought it looked pretty nice. but that's about as much decals i would put on my car. well maybe the chrome i-vtec emblem on Jazz's

I gotcha. I think the RS in Japan is the same 1.5L we have standard here, so RS works I guess. They probably have four wheel disc brakes, but who really cares?

yo ryu, you bought those tails here in PH? or in HK? anyway nice tails!

also noticed that you are using an aftermarket HU? is that pioneer? if yes, how did you work it with your steering wheel audio controls?

Thanks!

sup sabawballs? i went to banawe and they only had cheap depo tails and my gf was getting too tired walking up and down banawe to check out the other stores. i ended up finding some in HK and the price was very fair even though they wouldn't haggle with me.

as far as the head unit, its a pioneer avh-8400bh. i used the axxess aswc to wire up.

Axxess ASWC Steering wheel control interface — connects your car's steering wheel audio controls to an aftermarket stereo at Crutchfield.com

Had to splice in two wires behind the vehicle harness for the steering wheel controls.
