What did you do to your GE fit today?
^^ looks good on the taping. and you did it correctly with the overlapping to cut through air. perfect!
ive seen some bozo's do the layering without thinking and it starts peeing up while driving especially through rain. lol
drove my 12 to work today.... hopefully i dont get keyed again.

@kenchan: thanks... yes, I've seen those that peel because it was done the other way around lol.
the fit hasn't been keyed thank god but my black ct got keyed twice just weeks after getting it... fucking losers.
@Speedlimitz: just a little over an hour

First time I've seen this done...but I'm new to this forum, new to my fit, and unfamiliar with lots of things done by those younger than my 61 years...
Is it for style, or purely to cut down on bug and road debris damage to your front end? (or,
I suspect, both.)
What type tape is it you used? Does it come off without large amounts of residue to clean off, or do you leave it forever til it's really far gone, then just tape again?
I doubt I'll become "a taper", but want to find out more about this.
Thanks, Paul H

karma will bite them in the arse so i dont think about it much especially now that i was able to polish mine off.
prh- you can use painter's tape blue. if you get any adhesive after removal, just take some wax and it will all come off.
or do the ocd way, remove with claybar and wax afterwards.
Domo up the side with the left over tape is always my favorite haha
It fits in the Fit
My first foray fitting things in the Fit: While I usually walk with a cane due to a stroke a while back, occasionally I take a wheelchair with me if I'm going to be somewhere longer than I can comfortably stand. This afternoon I'm taking my wife and daughter to SF to watch America's Cup sailboat racing at Marina Green, sure to be very crowded.
So I wanted my foldable wheelchair along, but also seating for 3 of us. If the Fit didn't work I'd take my Ford Explorer instead, but parking would be tougher. Not to worry, the wheelchair fit just fine standing behind the seats. Just had to lean it back while putting it in past the lower rear ceiling.
So, as many others have said, "It Fits in the Fit."
