A shifter extension is going to lengthen throw period. If you put it on a short shifter tho it will be shorter than if you just put it on the stock shifter. I also wouldn't waste the extra money on the mugen ss, the revo technica does the same thing for much cheaper.

I don't mind the price difference over some brand I've never heard of and sounds cheap.

That's fine. I've had it over a year and still works great. It's oem quality. They also have a very nice site and professional install video. Revo Technica - Honda Fit Jazz GD 07+ Short Throw Shifter

i've used the mugen ss with a circuit hero extender. to me with the extender made the throws feel stock. i find that using the extender with the ss defeated the purpose of have the ss lol. i cant give you a technical review like the other thread though.

Shifter extender is for raising the height of the knob. Yes you are sacrificing shorter throw, BUT shifter extender + short shifter is still shorter than oem shifter + extender. Still a benefit to having the ss, extender or not.

How long is the circuit hero extender?

That's with the Mugen SS & the H-Fit SS combined, and with a 4.72" extender.

Good lord that's a hell of an extender. I have a 50mm extender, not 120mm like the Circuit Hero.

Revo SS + Garage Defend angled extension + HOP 5MT knob. I hope they have more angled extensions in stock because I haven't found anywhere else to get an angled in 10x1.5.

Last choice will be a shorter straight cheapo ebay extension I don't think a 4" will clear the climate controls well, I already bump them sometimes when releasing grip on 3rd on stock shifter with Mugen Sport knob.

Yeah it was the only bent extender I could find in the proper thread pitch. I may have bought the last one...IN THE WORLD.

Yeah that's a little too much... I think that's why the OP in that thread eventually got rid of the extender.

I think the Mugen SS with the H-Fit SS modification, and either a 1-2" extender would be a good match...

I agree. I don't want to punch the dash, just want slightly under stock height with shorter throws and marginally notchier.

That has a purpose...

for me I'm thinking the frankenstein super short shifter with a 1" extender would be perfect.
I was thinking about this extender --->

Installed OEM window visors and OEM ambient light kit. Install was easy although it took a few hours because I was careful not to rush and make a mistake (that double sided tape has no mercy). Honda accessories are top quality and special thanks to Collegehillshonda for their PDF's and install videos. I'm happy because it was a clean install and looks factory.

Here's a pic of the door visors. You can also see the new front badge and the hitch bike rack in action. The bikes sure make the Fit look small. Ha ha
