Nice... Watch out for palm-burns in the summer though. Baby socks work.

Had the Skunk2 knob before this one. Used a sunglasses case last summer to put over it but didn't work. Car gets too hot and just the ambient temp roasts the knob. It's like an oven, so keeping the sun's rays off doesn't really help.

Yeah but you can shift with baby socks on. Kinda hard with the sunglasses case.

I used to use a baseball cap when I had a DDM tuning knob. Takes a few notches off the cool factor, but it's worth it when it becomes skin-friendly temp again!
haha

I know it's just a personified sock, but that is seriously one of the coolest things I could spend $7.99 on..

My carefully designed shift boot finally got here (from Poland apparently) and it looks exactly as I expected. It matches the interior very well, with the gray, and jazzes up one of the most bland areas of the cockpit. I'm very happy with the results. If anyone needs the specs, PM me. It's not even a thread configuration they offer on their site. I made a photoshop and sent it to them.

With the Strut King boot adapter installed.

With my carbon knob. Will try others later on and post pics.

Installed the carbon vent trim kit too:

Now to get back to my slipstream centercap project. Going well so far.

^ Nice, I clean out my car and did my oil change but need to order an air filter and cabin filter. Also over the weekend I installed the 2 point Cusco bar.

I broke my bulb retainer clip while installing my Osram Nightbreakers. I didn't even put pressure on it I just opened it, switched out the bulb, went to close it , and then heard a popping noise followed by the sound of me calling my car a SOB.

Philips xtreme power bulbs just got here. Can't wait to get back to some better bulbs after the Narvas went out.

Also, last night I removed my h-fit shifter adapter, and reinstalled the boot to be a bit longer. When initially putting the new boot in, I inspected the adapter, and despite the company and I going back and forth on a revised model, it still rubs a bit too much for my taste. The paint was wearing away where the nylon ball pivot holder touched in 3rd and 2nd, but still didn't inhibit the gears full engagement. Just when you grab and wiggle it. That sounds dirty, but yall get the point.

Pics later of the new bulbs, with a comparison shot of the color temps.
