Just bought another set of camber bolts for the front, and I picked up some grade-8 washers and bolts for the rear hubs to get some negative camber back there too.

Also, might have a fix to remove the CDV. Stay tuned. I think I found a suitable replacement master cylinder.

 

Hardwired the V1 a few weeks back. Still have to mount the Remote display though. so nice to have my 12V Accessory back for use. Hard to believe I've had the same Radar for over 10 years and it still picks up cops a few miles away.

Also took the Fit on the first long family trip. Rode quite well even if a little bit on the loud side. Averaged 37-38mpg on the highway at just about 70mph. If it had been flatter, I'd have done much better but 120 miles of the trip is on Rt 88 in NY which is VERY Hilly.

Oh yeah, I've got a V1 hardwired too. I made a custom mount out of aluminum that bolts to the rear view mirror stalk, and also holds my E-Z Pass toll tag. I'll post pictures sometime.

The v1 rocks. I can't believe I never saw the value in getting one (always had cheap cobra detectors) until a couple months ago.

 

Made some new decals and put them on detailed my car and got 74% of the swirls out lol and is waiting for my cpiller bar and lowing springs to come in

Soon time to take snows off so I cleaned the inside of summer rims. They had a lot of overspray from undercoating.

Listened to my HKS.

 

Did some makeshift highway side maintenance on the underbody plastic protectant (oil pan??) when I realized all 4 clips fell out due to removing the bumper and attempting to reuse the same clips (i think i placed the plastic pieces back together wrong - wrong overlap)
Also picked up some general tire - explain UHP tires for the summer!

 

Went to the pizza place to pick up a large pie with my boy.

Today I did the second oil & filter change at 19,800 miles (just over 1 year old). I also touched up a stone chip in the hood and drove the car to Utica and back. I still need to get under the car with a pressure washer and figure out how to get some of the swirl marks out of the paint on the sides.

 

That sounds like a great lineup of events....ENJOY!
