Everytime I see a picture of a base model makes me really happy knowing that I'm not the only one with one. Maybe we should make our own base model thread and upload some pictures on how we are making them look good beside no having a full body kit or hallogens.

For those of you who have worked with vinyl, what is the difficulty of say, wrapping the roof? I know using a heat gun is a good idea but I'm not sure if this is a project I want to tackle yet. I'm thinking about wrapping the roof in black, and using carbon fiber vinyl on the hatch panel where the H badge is, the door handles, the mirrors, the gas door, and the rear diffuser thing. Thanks
If you put it on dry, you do it in sections, only taking off part of the lining to lay on part of the vinyl. Oh and the antenna part is removable from inside if you didn't know that part. Having more than one person to help you is always a plus!The trunk garnish might be a little more tricky with the curves(rear wiper part and such). Door handles aren't bad, mirrors might definitely be one of the hardest to do right. I wrapped my sport diffuser/valence once-- the curve that sets it apart from the bumper was troublesome, but this was years back.
I am also planning to buy the Insight aluminum Lower Control Arms,
hopefully Bernardi parts have some kind of Labor Day Sale so I can order
with discount and you can also order your Mount at discount.

The JDM Acura Integra DC5 Type R "RED" brake caliper,
This is for my JDM RS Rear Axle with Disc Brake Conversion that I had been working since 2 years ago hahaha...
hopefully I can finish soon, since the only parts I need for this conversion is custom bracket for this Caliper...
This caliper are made by NISSIN but are used in the DC5 Type R to match the Front Brembo Brake on that car...
It have different outer body design compare to other USDM Honda Rear Brake Caliper but the brake pads are the same...
Front Wheel Bearing and Circlip so I can replace the wheel stud
with the stronger ARP one, (I also already got the hydraulic press),
and the JDM Fit RS RED Hazard Switch:
Plus last, is the JDM Fit RS Door Handle (Darker Gun Metal Grey Color),
and the 90's era Honda Accord Rear Emblem plus OEM Honda VTEC
engine valve cover emblem.
I plan to attached this Accord and VTEC emblem on top of the
Sprintex Supercharger (someday after I bought a Sprintex which
still don't know when hahaha)...

Good luck. I'm in the same boat. Between house payment/ mods and other expenses, it doesn't leave much for the fit and I'm nowhere near your mod level. Congrats on all the fun parts. By the way, I was planning on trying the innovative mounts. We shall see how they are.

Money is always an issue when it comes to a build. I've seen very few people building a small car like this that don't have to take breaks because of money. Otherwise we'd all be on NSXPrime or something, right?
I find ingenuity and carefully planned mods work just as well as a big budget anyways. Once the car is finally paid off, I'll be able to finish the build a lot easier. Mine is really just a couple big pieces and a few little ones and it'll be just how I want it. I'm worried that I might get bored of it and sell it after, though.

Roof isn't so bad on the GE. You don't really need a heat gun except for maybe the corners-- the roof is pretty flat overall. Well as an early birthday present to myself I'm trying to purchase the fitshuttle mugen grill.
I wish I had switchbacks! Mine are regular leds-- pretty much the parking lights and turn signals wirings switched around haha. So the top corners are my amber signals and the ones near the grille are now my parking lights
