Resurrection thread...

I'm an old geezer.

Turned 51 on Monday and we bought this because the Blazer was "thousand dollar-ing" (nickle and dimeing : ) us in to the poor house.

We still have the Fit and it's doing just fine, but she really wants me to attend to the two recalls. (Low beam wiring and window switch) I say BS to them!

Thanks. It's been a while since I signed on here.

Glad to see yunz are still active.

BTW, the Fit pic is from 2009, but it still looks THAT good!

I was trying to be funny, things are not that great for me right now. My mom passed a few weeks ago and it is not getting easier. You should try a tank of premium and run the same street and see if it sounds different. 44 was my best too in my Fit. I just figured out how to drive it when I traded it.

At 51 you're not a geezer, nor old.

We still have the Fit and it's doing just fine, but she really wants me to attend to the two recalls. (Low beam wiring and window switch) I say BS to them!

Or your food server, especially.

Sorry to hear of your mother's passing, I pray you both know the Lord our Savior and then she's there waiting for you.
I know your funn'n me with my "Steve McQueen/ Bullet" video.

Okay I'm gonna "bite the bullet" and ask How do ya drive a Fit?

Early 30s. Love the fit. I have a smile on my face everytime I gas up. How can you beat a family hauler w/ MT that gets 40+ mpg. It fits a car seat and 4 adults. What else can I say.

Early 30's??? You need to register here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gene...ners-here.html

Geezer is a privileged title only time can award_

A while back I considered starting a Geezer thread before I started the thread above.
Coyote
figured it would be a stale thread, then this one surfaced back in March and surprised me.

OP [back in '09] was thinking anyone over 40yrs, but I've got to say 55 would be a better threshold, but I'm only 64 so, who knows... it's all in how you feel.

I think Coyote said it best:

But hey - for all who post, If your feeling like a Geezer remember what Coyote said and post on ;-)
