2013: What is everyone paying?
That appears to be for military/college gad only?
Base, red, MT, $14,900, no add ons, plus tax and registration. Then take off the $500 rebate for financing through AHF at 0.9% for 60 months. If I'd had another week I think I could have knocked off $500 more and gotten the blue that I wanted.
This was the result of weeks of research on every ridiculous detail. You have to know what the tax will be, what the registration will be, which fees are legit and which are BS. You have to know about every incentive they have available to them. You have be ruthless about rejecting dealer options. No to extended warranties, no to lojack, no nitrofill, etc. If they've put something like the door edge guard on there you tell them that it's going to cost you good money to have that crap torn off and you're not going to pay a cent. Dealers have dozens of ways to suck money out of you. You have be be ready to walk. Lucky in the Bay area I had 6 dealers in 30 miles of me to play against each other.
I had a quote from the Vallejo and El Cerrito dealers at $13,813 and they promised in writing no add-ons! But when I got there they had $1200 in crap added on. Including $349 for nitrofill (a gimmick even at $10/tire), $499 for tint (I hate tint), $279 for cheap plastic door guard strips, $149 for locks on the steel fricken wheels! I walked.
This was where I learned an online approach to getting a good starting price before you show up.

2013 Honda Fit base, AT, Vortex Blue
$16883 OTD including any taxes and licensing fees. I live in Washington state with 9.8% sales tax. This includes the $500 for taking out a loan. They couldn't give me the new grad discount for some BS reason but I kept fighting for it and they finally budged and gave me a different $500 discount. In total it was around $2000 under MSRP. Yay for Black Friday haggling!
Interest was for 1.9%, 60 months, but I've been saving for a year to buy this car so I just plan to pay it off ASAP
. DP was $8000 from me + $500 from Honda for taking out the loan.

Just closed my deal today in Queens, NY (12/26) on a Fit Sport A/T, $17.4K before TTL, was only able to get them to throw in the OEM wheel locks. But 0.9% for 60months was already incentive enough to sign for it.
Can you guys also post your price before TTL? The different tax rates will throw off the final figures significantly and we can't get an apples/apples comp.
Sounds like a few of you getting Sport A/T's for under $17K before TTL? Isn't that BELOW dealer's invoice of $18,318 and the $500 X 2 in incentives from Honda?

Just bought fit base model automatic for 17K OTD. 15.3k for the car + tax + license + doc fee of $80.
Feels like I should have fought against the doc fee but I got too tired. I pitted two dealerships against each other which all came down to 17.2K OTD and then I made it 17K in the end.

Purchased a new 2013 Honda Fit Sport Automatic last Wednesday. MSRP $18,800. Net Sales price $17,176 not including tax, license or fees. Dealer was Honda of the Desert. Negotiation was strait forward. Car is white in color. 0.9% financing.

2013 Honda Fit Sport Auto in Vortex Blue, $18.8K MSRP, bought at $17K before tax/title/fees/etc with 0.9% 60 months. Fought nail and tooth to get it down to that price, and then they tried to trick me in adding wheel locks and mudflap charges. Good thing I don't buy cars often because the process was just painful.
