I have a 2011 Honda Fit with 138,000 miles and yesterday it started making a Louis ticking sound aside from that everything else runs fine

Hard to tell from a video, but here's a guess:

1) "Started yesterday" doesn't make sense to me. Normal valve train noise is usually gradual, and I don't hear anything abnormal.

2) If you haven't adjusted the valves in the last 30k mi., I would start with that.

3) I have 50k mi. on my '13 Fit and, from the beginning, I have always thought our injectors were loud. Not a problem, just loud. So, it makes it a little harder to diagnose valve noise.

Good luck, hombre. 😊

Also now my check engine light came in and it started shaking and almost stalled out. Any thoughts? But no code showed

Stop driving it now before you do additional damage.

If you're up for the task, start by checking the plugs to make sure they are tight and check the coils to see if they have soot (sign of leaking plug).

Then do a valve adjustment.

If you're not up for that task, get it to a mechanic to have them check the plugs pronto. If it has a loose plug and you continue to drive it, it may eject the plug and take the threads with it. That gets expensive.

Great to hear! Make sure to let him know to check the plugs and coils to look for signs of leakage. Few are familiar with this issue and it's common to the GD and GE Fit's.

Please report back what he finds.
