I like them but hate two things, you can't see them from where you sit in the driver/passenger seat and they are really hard to notice during the day. At night they rock though.

Hey Dave, how much harder is the installation? Do you need to cut the entire connector off of the JDM mirror and replace it with the USDM one? Im assuming you will also need to add a few more wires to power the folding feature too. After reading through Nicks DIY, I was thinking of waiting till you add in your folding wiring so that I can use the mirrors I bought from you. But if its WAY harder then I'll just go with the basic installation.

Nice job Niko by the way where did you get your mirrors from? Was it from Dave or Ebay?

i understand about the not seeing in them in the daytime.
but why would you want to see them from where you sit?
they would blind you when you look at the mirror to change
lanes.

mine rock

nice DIY,

but how did the grey wires that you soldered to the mirrors turn into red and black wires? That part confused me ;p. Also the little plastic pieces you used to tap into the left and right +'ve wires weren't part of your list! What are those things called anyways?

Thanks!

Not see them completely but at least enough to tell that they are blinking.
