Once you get the hang of it theres no problem. I hold the funnel with 1 hand and i pour with the other. Thats even with a 5 qt jug! I never spill a drop. You gotta learn how to be "crafty".

Not much of a problem really. All filters will spill oil all over. I just clean up the oil pan real nice with a rag and a splash of WD-40

I hold a small funnel with my left hand and i pour with my right hand and yes i mean the heavy 5 qt jug. Took some practice but im a master now.

Yes you need a small funnel. Hold it with left hand and pour using right hand. You will get the hang of it. The 5 qt jug is all i ever use. Yes i know its heavy!
