s23ho, for that setup, if you are using stock tires, you *should* be fine. You should look at the 2009 GE wheel picture thread, someone is running the rota slipstreams of the same setup on 205 tires lowered with tein springs. I asked him whether he is rubbing or not. check the thread for his reply.

Wheel Size: 17"
Offset: +45mm
Tire Size: 205/40/R17 (Toyo Proxes)
Suspension: 1.4" Front Drop, 1.2" Rear Drop
When I Rub: Never, not even with 4 people and luggage. =)

I will confess that I added a Rear Spacer @ 1/4" and I had to slightly roll the rear fenders. Still never rub after the roll.

Will 17x7 +40 offset fit my 09 honda fit?

I'm thinking of buying some konig controls in that size and was wondering if I'd run into rubbing issues.
