MODS/ACCESSORIES for the GK
sticky?
What is a sticky? Hope I am not contributing to redundant postings. If that's the case please let me know.
It's a topic that's so important that it is always near the top. At least that's the way I've seen the term used.
Do you have links for the two items you got for your fit? The plasma cluster looks imported. Also is it harmful if I use it in the car with baby in the back seat?
Someone previously posted an eBay link for this MagnetBra. I bought one as I already have a few chips on my hood. Pretty simple, easy to install and maintain.
Very important that the hood is entirely cleaned and absolutely free of dust and debris. I waxed the hood as well as the underside of the bra (several coats) with Collinite No.845 Insulator Wax (very resilient, long lasting protectant).
Here's PICS:

Both items I got from eBay. The plasma cluster is quite expensive, about the same as if you were to get a plasma cluster air filter. That's what it is anyway, an air filter and lamp combo. It's universal fit for the Honda vehicles, but the instructions say specifically not for vehicles with the sunroof option. It fits in the GK with sunroof, but I believe it's more for the LX trim, only because the lamp harness in EX and above trims appear to have all their connectors with pins already - which the instructions require the far end connector to be free to insert a new pin into. But this is easily solveable by splicing. My only issue with it is that the filter does not turn off when I lock the car doors outside (like the lamp does when set to door). I wonder if it's a wiring issue, a JDM -> USDM issue, or if it's just designed that way since it 'is' an air filter thing ... and maybe it's supposed to rely on the car just turning things off after a set time frame (eg. like how the trunk light turns off on its own after 15 minutes or so, or how the car turns off after an hour when accessory power is on).

There's a pic with the light on. Its a soft white light and I think the whole area is an OLED.
The cup holder led is a DIY kit I also got on eBay. You just have to make a hole in the cupholder to put the wires through then I just spliced them to my existing illuminated interior lights I installed.

Pic with my blue water bottle in. Looks darker in that pic. With my yellow camelbak bottle it lights up the water like a Gatorade.

2'' 3/4 for the cupholders in front of the stick.
The 2'' 7/8 size fits perfect in the door cup holders. I wired them to the speakers in the front door so the light pulses with the audio. Gf finds it distracting and says it's all cosmetic. Well obviously.
And the guy on ebay offers several colors. Blue, amber, pink, green, white. Too bad they didn't have it in violet. Would've loved for it to match with the color of the car.
You obviously removed the cup-holder to make your holes. Any tips on how that is removed? On my LX I see a small recess in the top of the cup-holder where it meets the rest of the console (for a screw driver or trim tool?). Hate to admit I am too much of a PUSSY to try removing it for fear of damaging something, everything is so new and perfect! On the 2nd Gen the cupholder popped right out for cleaning

I am more interested in HOW it is removed for cleaning spilled coffee, shmutz, drool, etc... don't think I'll be making any holes either

First remove the Phillips screw at the upper left. Then pull on the upper right to snap the clip out of the hole. Move that panel out of the way.
I think the cupholders just lifted out after that. Sticking a paper towel down there would be much easier.

I don't think I'd remove it for cleaning, but it's pretty easy.
